Family Fun Nights

In addition to learning, the Lakeview community loves to have fun. Check the Lakeview PTSA calendar to find the dates for these fun events.

Back to School Social – September

Every year the PTSA sponsors a Back-to-School event in August or September. Some years we’ve had a BBQ and recently we’ve had ice cream sundae parties. It’s a great chance to meet other parents, re-connect with families from the previous school year, and learn about opportunities and programs happening in our community. After School Enrichment Vendors will also be there to present their programs.

Multicultural Night – Fall/Winter

Everyone is invited to join the potluck for Lakeview’s Multicultural Night held annually in December. Families are invited to a favorite dish representing their cultural background. Lakeview students perform songs from around the world!

Family Game Night – Mid-Winter

In mid-winter the PTSA sponsors Family Game Night. The PTSA and Lakeview staff provide plenty of games to test your strategy, number sense, patterns, geometry and problem solving. Students and adults can play favorites such as Blokus, Rat-a-Tat Cat, and Qwirkle. Or learn a new one!

Art Walk – Spring

The Art Walk is the PTSA Art Enrichment Program’s Annual event where each child’s artwork is showcased. This event showcases just a snippet of the amazing art our children create thanks to the PTSA funded lessons an art teacher and our volunteer art docents. Learn more on the Art Walk page.

Science Fair – Spring

The Lakeview Science Fair allows students to test big ideas, learn something new, and maybe show off a little. This PTSA-sponsored event usually takes place in the spring. Learn more on the Science Fair page.

Family Dance Night – Spring

Family Dance Week is usually scheduled for a week in the spring. During the week students learn dance moves during PE class, sponsored by the PTSA. At the end of a week the PTSA hosts a really fun dance on Friday night. Come see your student strut their stuff. Show them your moves and grooves! This is not a drop-off event, all students must have a responsible adult in attendance.
