2021-22 Welcome Message from PTSA

Welcome Back Leopards! We are so excited to be back together (safely!) this year, and ready to make the 2021-2022 school year awesome!!

We are your new Lakeview PTSA Co-Presidents, Andrea Patzer and Jennifer Davis, and we’d love for you to join us in PTSA. 

PTSA (Parent, Teacher, Student Association) is meant to help each and every kid have the best school experience possible, and that’s our aim. PTSA supports extra-curricular activities like multicultural night, science fair, dance night, art walk and other social events – along with helpful programs like winter wishes and pantry packs. While this year will look a little different, we will still work to be inclusive, fun, and supportive of all the kids, parents and teachers at Lakeview.

So come join the fun! We’ve got two events scheduled – first, a play date and get-to-know-you event, on Saturday, Sept. 18th at 10:30 am. We’ll have a coffee and donuts, and let the kids run around on the playground, while parents mingle. New to the area? Join us! Been around awhile and have an older student, join us! A great chance for the kids to romp and get reacquainted and for the adults to chat. We will be outside, but masks for all are encouraged.

Our first “official” PTSA get-together will be Tuesday, Sept. 28th at 5:30 pm at Google Park (at the tables between the zip line and volleyball court. Outside, socially distanced and kiddos can play at the park area while we chat). If you’re unsure of what PTSA does or how you can help, please come! We’d love to find a few folks to coordinate small projects here and there – we’re not asking for a huge commitment. And it’s a great way to socialize with other Lakeview families.

Enjoy the last few days of summer break and remember: every Lakeview student will be provided with the appropriate school supplies on the first day of school, thanks to PTSA (so no need to stress about finding the perfect #2 pencils).
